In the Yellow Wallpaper, Jane has a severe disease. This disease makes her crazy. John, her husband, locks her up in a room. He says that it would help her cure her disease with not talking to anyone. But, Jane, tried to convince John that, that wasn't the issue. It just made the problem worse. Jane was getting crazier. her problem got worse as days went on. She then realizes that men were taking over women and women's rights were violated. All Jane did was sit in a room with nothing to do but stare out the window and look at the yellow wallpaper.

She was locked in her room all alone. For three months she was not to go outside, do any work, or see her child. She secretly wrote a journal that contained her true feelings. This shows how she became more insane throughout the story.
ReplyDeleteGizem, you did a good job including your two links and definition. But, after your links you need a sentence explaining why you used the website. Also, for every blog you need at least two citations. I recommend using quotes from the story to help make your writing stronger.
