Jane the protagonist

In the story of "The Yellow Wallpaper" Jane is the protagonist. She is stuck in her room by herself for three months with nothing to do. She tries to think of something to do but all she does is look at this hideous yellow wallpaper. She is becoming obsessed with this yellow wallpaper. She is so obsessed that the color is on her and there are dents in the wall. Also, that she can smell the color "yellow" on her. She is actually smelling the wallpaper. But at first, she hated this wallpaper. Now, she is overly obsessed with it. On this wallpaper, there are stripes on it.
