Charlotte
Perkins Gillman’s life was born on July 3, 1860, in Hartford, Connecticut. She was an activist, author, and poet. She
died on August 17, 1935. Gilman had a
very difficult childhood. She moved from place to place because her father left
her family. In result her education
wasn’t the best. Gilman’s best known short story is “ The Yellow Wall-Paper” in
1892. After her second marriage Gilman committed suicide because she had breast
cancer.
